Darcy Lalonde is the Chairman of Figari and collaborates closely on the overall business strategy and management alongside CEO Chris Butt. Darcy has 30 years of executive experience in leadership of Real Estate, Property management, BPO Operations, SAP and IT Consulting, Outsourcing organizations and has been a key individual in the success of the firm as a co-founder with Chris. Darcy is Canadian, a Certified Public Accountant and has been based in Manila for most of the last 20+ years with stints as well in Singapore, Malaysia and throughout the APAC region.
A charismatic leader and investor who brings his passion and entrepreneurial acumen as a hands on global executive that applies his unique approach to build successful businesses. Darcy leverages his extensive global and local experience and ecosystems to provide high quality success enabled by capital, people, process and profitability. Chris Butt is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Figari with our current Chairman of the Board, Darcy Lalonde. Chris has been instrumental to Figari’s success, given his 15 years of experience in developing and managing large teams and projects across the Asia-Pacific Region.
Chris graduated with a BA degree from Griffith University in Australia, with a major in Business Management. Chris is also the current Chairman of Corporate Executive Offices in the Philippines, and a Board member of Tierra International Construction Corporation.
Chris leverages off his general knowledge across the sectors of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), information technology and real estate. This, coupled with a natural flare for leadership has contributed to Figari’s sustainable growth in the industry. Customer relationships and service excellence is his number one priority when engaging in business. Under Chris’ management, Figari continues its track record as a major player in the region today.
Jouni Leskinen is the Chief Technology Officer of Figari for more than 3 years and manages a team of highly-skilled IT professionals servicing clients across all industries types.
Jouni graduated from Saimaa University of Applied Sciences in Finland with a major in ICT and spent over 10 years servicing global firms in managing teams and supporting their various technology solutions.
Jouni oversees Figari’s IT activities across 17 facilities and 3,300 seats in Bonifacio Global City. He manages IT services under infrastructure set up and maintenance, internet connectivity, desktop support and even hardware leasing, providing clients with a cost-effective solution through the OPEX model.
With a demonstrated history of working in the technology industry, Jouni also works with Figari’s clients in providing them with high-level IT consultancy and comes up with tailor-fit IT services and technology solutions in relation to their business goals. Jouni handles several aspects from IT consultancy, client management and even sales.
Jen de la Cruz is Figari’s Vice President for Client Services and has over 9 years of real estate experience, which involves managing global accounts and assisting clients with their expansion requirements.
Jen started real estate doing as a Sales Trainer in two of the country’s biggest real estate developers. She then found her passion in doing Sales and Facilities Management in one of the top flexible workspace providers in the world.
Jen has a diverse background with an all-around experience in commercial leasing, facilities management, business development, sales and marketing. In Figari, Jen handles Sales throughout all Figari’s business lines and oversees all marketing activities for lead generation and branding.
She continues to excel in servicing clients by assisting them through different aspects of their business from expansion requirements to HR and payroll. She also does project management for the construction of Figari’s facilities and ensures complete occupancy prior to turnover.
Angela Antonio is the Vice President of Operations overseeing all Figari Facilities and heading the Design and Fit-out team. She has accumulated experience of more than 5 years in Operations and Project Management.
Angela has helped build and establish Figari’s foundation and culture joining the team during its early days. Her dedication to the Company, enthusiasm to lead her team and commitment to provide excellent client service has helped her excel in managing all operational functions of Figari’s departments.
Angela also heads all Figari’s construction projects. She leads a team of architects, designers, engineers and project managers in servicing clients across all industries. Together with her team, Angela assists clients in all aspects from project inception, conceptualization and design to execution and project turnover. She is able to strategize throughout project phases for both timely and cost-efficient construction.
Prior to Figari, Angela has had experience in the financial trading, medical and insurance industries. This has made Angela a well-rounded individual whose true goal and main priority is business organization and client satisfaction.
Louise de la Cruz is the Finance Director of Figari and has an accumulated experience of over 7 years in the field of Finance and Accounting.
Prior to joining Figari, he worked as a Financial Reporting Manager in one of the biggest cement companies in the Philippines and had significant experience in the largest auditing firm in the Philippines.
Louise heads Figari’s Finance Division and provides financial analyses for all Figari’s activities under all its business lines. He manages the company’s overall financial strategy and long-term business viability alongside Chris and Darcy and does constant pricing evaluation and budgeting strategies in line with business goals. Louise also ensures business compliance with financial regulatory requirements.
As a testament to his continuing expertise in the field, Louise is not just a Certified Public Accountant, he has also earned his MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Management graduating at the top of his class.
